NotaryDrill is an independent study site for state notary public exams.

How the questions are written

Every question is original. We write it from the state's official notary law booklet, and each answer names the law section and quotes the passage that supports it. Before a question is published we check that the quoted passage appears word for word in the current booklet. For New York that isNotary Public License Law (September 2026).

If you think an answer is wrong or out of date, please tell us and we will check it against the law.
